Sheshan Golf Club Shanghai
| Nelson&Haworth have designed the
golf course at shanghai sheshan to be
one of the most hilly and forested golf
course in the shanghai region.the design
concept calls for moving millions cubic
meters of earth to create this unique
golfing environment. Elevation changes
of over 12 meters are found on several
holes, with the most dramatic being
hole No. 8. These rolling hills will
be covered with forests, both pine and
deciduous to give the golfer the feeling

playing in a forest. Each hole will be separate
from the next so no golfers will see each
other or adjacent fairways.
We fight off destroying the wildwood in our
design and also collect 10000 trees(with more
than 16cm diameter) to create the unique forest
golf course of Shanghai. There are also hundred-meter-deep
swags and thousand-years maidenhair trees
in the course.

Binhai Golf Club Shanghai
Shanghai Binhai Golf Club was opened
in 2000, the Club plans to build a 54
holes international championship golf
courses, including the 18 holes Fairy
Lake Golf Course which has been opened
