In Shanghai, many places provide internet &
email service, such as some hotels, restaurants,
wine bars, business centers, etc.
If you can not find place to send your email in
Shanghai, please don't hesitate to ask Aron
for help. I would be very glad to help you send
your massage/photos to your pointed email address
for free.
Internet Cafe
China now has a handful of Internet Cafes. The
three main Internet Cafes are sometimes also known
as Sparkice Cafes (a reference to the Canadian
firm Sparkice which is the chain's foreign joint
venture partner). These are relaxed, airy spaces
that are more like coffee houses with PC terminals.
Surf the Web for 30 RMB an hour, 15 if you're
a student at a Chinese university (bring your
ID to get the discount).
If you take your own computer and want to access
the Internet through your phone line, there are
a few public Internet services to choose from
and the rates vary.
